Ingredients
- Beef-1/2 kg
- Onion-1 (chopped)
- Tomato-2(chopped)
- Greenchilli-3(chopped)
- Ginger-1(big piece)
- Garlic-6 pods
- Curry leaves-2 spring
- Chilly powder-1 tbsp
- Coriander powder-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
- Pepper powder-11/2 tbsp
- Garam masala-11/2 tbsp
- Grated coconut-1/2 cup
- Oil-as reqd
- Salt- as reqd
- Coriander Leaves- as reqd
Cook the beef with salt in a cooker & drain the water . Chop the cooked beef in grinder & keep it aside.Heat oil in a pan . Add curry leaves,ginger garlic,onion & saute well till it turns light brown . To this add all the powdered ingredients (garam masala-1/2tbsp) & saute it well till it turns dark brown . Next add tomato and grated coconut , allow it to cook for few minutes in low flame . Then add the chopped beef and saute till it becomes dry . Finally add the remaining garam masala,coriander leaves and turn off the flame after 15 minutes . This can be served as appetizer or with chappathis .
Note: Chilli powder or pepper powder can be added according to wish.Chopped coriander leaves can be added just after the flame off as this makes more tastier.
